A nurse injector, and why that matters.

If you're near Cornelius and deciding who gets to inject your face, the letters after a name matter more than the marketing. I'm Kat Chapman, a registered nurse — BSN, RN — who spent about eight years in hospital and travel nursing before I ever picked up a syringe of neurotoxin.

Injectables are medicine

It's easy to forget that, because so much of this world is sold like retail. But the real risks of injectables are vascular and clinical, and handling them safely is exactly what a nursing background prepares you for. I read anatomy and think about risk the way emergency work taught me to: carefully, ahead of time, and without improvising. When I look at a face I'm seeing vessels and muscle first, and the aesthetic result second.

Honesty about where I am

I'll tell you plainly, because you deserve to know: I'm an experienced nurse and a newer injector. I'm building my hours deliberately, under physician supervision, the way careful clinicians do. I think that's a reason to trust me rather than to hesitate — it means I move slowly, I don't take on what I'm not ready for, and I'd rather refer you elsewhere than reach beyond my depth. I would rather earn your trust with the truth than lose it with a polished story.

What a visit is like

Unhurried. One person, one chair, time to talk before anything happens, conservative dosing, and a two-week follow-up so we look at the result together. Cornelius sits right on the lake between Huntersville and Davidson, so I'm a short drive away and seeing me again is genuinely easy.
