Cheek filler in Huntersville, NC puts back the volume that fades from the cheeks and midface, so you look rested instead of tired. I'm Kat Chapman, BSN, RN. I place hyaluronic acid (HA) filler conservatively at Canvas & Glow on Sam Furr Road in Huntersville, and every treatment is done under Dr. G's medical oversight.

Cheek filler often goes hand in hand with other areas. These are my other Huntersville filler pages:

When you book with me, your treatment is done under Dr. G's medical oversight. I'm the licensed RN doing the injection, following physician-directed protocols. Dr. G is a physician with 23 years of practice and about 12 years in aesthetics. That means a nurse and a physician both stand behind the plan for your face.
Filler is priced per syringe and quoted at your free consult. How much you need depends on how much volume you've lost and how many areas we're treating, so I'd be guessing if I gave you a number before seeing your face. The pricing page explains how it's priced, and you get a specific estimate before anything is booked. Financing through Cherry and CareCredit is available for treatment plans.
Most people feel pressure more than pain. Most HA fillers already contain lidocaine, a numbing medicine, which takes the edge off as I go. You can ask me to stop at any point.
Cheek augmentation is one of the uses the FDA has approved for dermal fillers in adults 22 and older. The FDA also says how long a filler lasts depends on the material and where it's injected, and that absorbable fillers break down over time, so the treatment may need repeating.
I won't promise you a number of months. We'll look at how your result is holding at your two-week follow-up and talk about what touch-ups might look like down the road.
The visit typically takes under an hour. Bruising is possible but usually minor, and some swelling for a few days is normal. Most people go back to their day afterward. If you have an event, book at least two weeks ahead so you're looking at the settled result.
I study your face at rest and while you talk before placing anything. Midface filler done well is hard to spot. People notice you look rested, and they can't say why. Placement is structural and conservative, working with your bone structure. Your included two-week follow-up is where the result gets checked and refined.
Lines from the nose to the mouth sometimes soften when support comes back to the midface above them. Whether that's true for you is something I can only tell in person.
The FDA's page on dermal fillers explains the risks. Based on that guidance, wait or bring it up at your consult if:
The FDA lists bruising, redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, and itching as common filler side effects, and says many clear up within days to weeks. The most serious risk is filler getting into a blood vessel. The FDA calls that chance low, but it can cause tissue damage, vision problems including blindness, or stroke. Get care right away for unusual pain, any change in your vision, or skin near the injection site that turns white, gray, or blue. You can look up my license on the North Carolina Board of Nursing site.
I can't tell you how many syringes you need, or whether cheeks alone will give you what you're after. Sometimes the chin or jawline is the bigger factor, and sometimes Botox is the better fit. That's what the free consult is for. If you want a plan for the whole face, read about facial balancing or browse the full services menu.

It depends on the product and the person. The FDA says filler longevity depends on the material and where it is injected, and absorbable fillers break down over time.
